NEWS  Oct.13, 2003

The representatives of Federal Television BiH – The Youth Program visited Chess Club Bosna

On Monday, October 13, the representatives of Federal Television BiH – The Youth Program visited Chess Club Bosna in Pruscakova 21 Street in Sarajevo. They prepared and edited the popular broadcast section for youth «The Big School's Break». The attention is drown to 20 years old Master of FIDE Neven Jakupovic and a year older Master Mirza Zerdo, who are now successful young players.

They explained to young spectators what the chess as a game means to them, how and when they started to play it, what are its benefits... In the live chess-game they demonstrated the chess rules. The nice combination demonstrated on the demonstrating chess-board has to enrapture the young man. In that way they showed the chess as a nice and amusing game.

They pointed out they work as the instructors in Chess School and contribute to the realization of Project «Play chess for better future» which is supported by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Iceland's Republic. This Project wouldn't have happened without the inspiration and guidance of one of the best world Grand Masters Ivan Sokolov from Sarajevo.
The section will be presented on TV on Saturday-October 25 at 11 P.M.
